About OTI Founder Florian Meier
About OTI Master Instructor Fernando Martinez
Fernando is the newest member of the OTI coaching staff, bringing more than 35 years of experience as both a player and coach.
He is a PTR Certified Professional since 2004. He is a Certified Tennis Performance Specialist by the International Tennis Performance Association and is also Etcheberry Certified in Strength, Conditioning, and Movement for Sport.
Previously, he served as Director of Men’s Tennis at the renowned Evert Tennis Academy and has worked on tour with WTA professional Ajla Tomljanovic for two years, helping guide her ascent in the world rankings.

We are looking for students who are willing to put in the effort for 4 days to reach the next level.
If you are just looking for a vacation with a little bit of instruction then this isn’t for you.
We will spend approximately 5 hours per day working on your tennis game.
So if you aren’t committed enough for this please don’t fill out the application form.
Don’t worry though…we will customize the training to your age and physical ability level!
Frequently Asked Questions
I don’t know if I can play Tennis for 5 hours per day.
- We won’t spend all 5 hours hitting tennis balls.
- The time will be customized to your individual needs and ability level.
- There will be video review sessions where we sit down and really break things down for you
- Unlike most other tennis programs, the OTI system is not about running you around the court.
- Instead, we pinpoint what you need to improve, slow things down and then fix it together with you using our progressive system. You will see dramatic results by the end of the week!
Will There Be Time To Enjoy The Canary Islands?
- Yes, there will be plenty of time to enjoy the Canary Islands!
- We will run a 3-hour training session in the morning and then another 2-hour session in the afternoon
- Afterwards there will be plenty of time to explore the area!
